I protested on Sunday, but my sign wasn't well made. I'm investing money this time! Last week my sign said "Torture is un-american", which I think you all could improve on.

Can you help me out with any ideas for my "expensive" sign? Thanks.

I protested between two soldiers last time. To be honest, their signs were a little more confrontational than I feel comfortable with.

And for the record, for those who still think that Iraq had ANYTHING to do with terrorists - please get informed. It's your duty as a voting citizen. Even BUSH admits they didn't have anything to do with it.

Wow! More keep posting. Thank you for your responses all! Even those that disagree with Bush and think that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11. :D Come on! Support your president and get a LITTLE bit informed!

What about this:

1) The reason we went into Iraq was:
WMD - no
Al- Quaeda Link - no
Democracy - no
Fight the terrorists there - no
Oil and Greed - YES

2) It's time the change course and bring our troops home.

3) Impeach Bush for an illegal pre-emptive war.

4) Bush lied thousands continue to die.

5) Time for regime change - impeach Bush and Cheney

These are just a few.

Good luck and post the final choice if you can.

its not wrong to question your government allthough it is wrong to follow them blindly. thanx for having the balls to stand up for what you believe, if only more people would take time to think for themselves. i have always liked "nuclear arms cant give hugs" but that doesnt really go with the iraq war but feel free to use it later. how bout "blood is thicker than oil" or "a true patriot knows when to say no" and then have the war with the circle and the line through it on the other side. nothing gets the point across better than a good old fasioned peace sign. sorry i couldnt be of more help but good luck.

Remember the scene of Sadam’s statue being pulled down off its base during the occupation of Bagdad? Do something similar to it by showing George W. Bush being pulled down of a statue base outside the Arlington cemetery! And hope that the rightwing extremists will get the massage.

You held a sign saying 'Torture is un-american' and you are against the war???

Perhaps you are forgetting the torture that the world has prevented by getting Hussein out of power. Perhaps you are forgetting America's history of slavery and torture of its own 'possessions' (oops I almost said citizens but blacks weren't recoginzed as citizens)

Take your money and use it to purchase a bus ticket to your local Iraqi community centre and talk to the people there...it will be money much better spent.

there are some more traditional ones such as "Wage peace, not war" but they come across as "hippie" these days.. you could go for a straight message instead of a rhyme... just something simple like bring our boys home or war is terrorism... or something along that line.. I'll see if i can think of any more.

You should get a sign from Jeff Foxworthy.

Why don't you get one in Arabic, which says, "Terrorists, please lay down your arms and let's talk peace."

Or how about

"Suicide bombers are homicidal fanatics."

Or

"Support our troops! Send books, not candy!"

I suggest you link up with all those peace protesters on the "other sides." Maybe you can start some true love and harmony. Go make nice over there for us. That would do much more good than jamming streets with your racket.

Yeah, How about:: We're not going to fight you
so you can continue to kill
Americans.
NEVER FORGET 9/11
Everytime I don't see a co-worker anymore I don't forget
but I guess it's easier to forget when you don't know anyone or 20
who died that day. I'm sure asking terrorists for peace talks is going to work. After all they're only trained to hate us from the time they're toddlers.
