The largest were erected about 15,000 years ago. Artifacts found on site establish (allbeit inconclusively) that neuclear powered lifting devices somewhat akin to levitational cranes were utilized to move the stones and laser technology was employed to align and plumb them during placement. Adhesive and coating substances were used to hold the stones together and preserve them against the elements, which is why they have lasted for more than 17 centuries, but the composition of those materials remains undetermined. All signs point to extra-terrestrial architecs and builders, probably Xrykzalonydan from Beta Gammaglubin, whose name and home appear in Cryllic hyroglyphs on the Mayan pyramids of the Nazca Plains in the Falklands, although this remains hotly debated in most scientific circles.
