The weird thing is that I haven't gained any weight (maybe 1 pound) and have been eating less and healthier than I did before. I'm 5'2" and weigh 122 lbs. I'm 34 and during my first pregnancy at 24 I didn't look pregnant until I was atleast 3 months along and then it was hardly noticable. I don't know why this one is so different. I've tried to find some information on it, but haven't had any luck. Any ideas?

oh I am SO with u!!! Im 10 1/2 wks and from 5 weeks I looked HUGE!!! I still do, people are amazed when I say Im not due till May! Doc said its normal, prob due to high levels of proestrgen, or water retantion, or gas. Its funny how some people don't even show until 7 months and then have this cute little bump, and others look like a heffalump from the beginning! Im the latter! good luck

The reason why you look more pregnant now than what you did on your first is because there is a lot more room inside now. After your first pregnancy believe it or not even if you do go back to the way you were before you had gotten pregnant. Everything has stretch Making it more possible for you to look like your 5 months instead of only three. So just sit back and enjoy. If your still concerned ask your OBGYN He or She will tell you the same.

when I was 2 months pregnant, people thought I was carrying 5 month old twins. I weigh 115 and was 5'4 when I got pregnant but the minute I got pregnant I gained weight like no tomorrow. Just keep eating right and make sure to walk alot. Dont become a couch potatoe like I did lol. Because this is your second baby and because you are so skinny the second babies usually make there precense known much sooner then their older siblings did.

When I was 3 months pregnant I looked like I was 6. My ob just said that I gained most of my bump in the first trimester. I'm 5 months now, and I still look 6 months. So I havent gotten much bigger since 3 months. You're fine. Dont worry :)

That replace into very insensitive of your mom and you'll be able to tell her I suggested that. Geez, with a mom like that who desires enemies! My youngest is now 9 and in third grade and that i honestly shield a hundred and five pounds on the age of 40 seven yet while i replace into having my youngsters I only did not lose the tummy as quickly as some women do. It replace into an insensitive nurse who instructed me I regarded 6 mos pregnant at my son's 2 week verify up. i ended at aim on the way living house and offered a girdle, it replace into August and that i had to look non-pregnant only in T shirts and shorts at our community pool. nicely, the girdle made my head pound and soreness! My husband, an M.D., suggested it replace into only fluid and mandatory to circulate away at that is very own %.. He replace into appropriate, it consistently did without particular greater paintings on my section. I only tried to view it as a severe high quality place for my toddler to take a seat down back whilst I fed him! some women are like your mom (i might go abdomen to abdomen against her now, lol!) yet only as many are such as you and me and you'd be superb!

After you first pregnancy your stomach muscles are stretched, so from the fluids your body is now building up for this pregnancy you will probably have more of a belly in the beginning.

Every pregnancy is different. I am pregnant with my second child and the whole experience is totally different. Your doc will tell you if you're not gaining enough weight.
