i can not conclude that who is the best football player in the premiership since it started in 1992, but there is no doubt that Thierry Henry is the best premiership football player in 21st century.
there are many facts that support him as "The Best" in 21st century. 1st, he is the only player ever to have won three FWA Footballer of the Year awards, in 2003, 2004 and 2006. 2nd, he also won the PFA Players' Player of the Year twice. 3rd, Henry emerged with the European Golden Boot for the second consecutive year and he is the first ever player to retain the award. last and not the least, he was runner-up for the 2003 and 2004 FIFA World Player of the Year award while helping Arsenal to an unbeaten record (26 wins, 12 draws) in the Premiership.
beside that, his consistency (more than 30 goals for 5 consecutive seasons since 2001-02) and team playing (23 assist in the 2002–03 season — an all-time Premiership record) make him the modern player with all-round skill.
there are no other premiership player have better performance than him according to the record.

Henry, by a country mile - the guy is one of the best 3 player sin the world and has been for the last 4 yaers, every year.
He has top scored in the Prem for the last 3 years and is the only player to win player of the year from the sports writers and the PFA in the same year, and he did that twice in a row.

i think steven gerrad is the best player in the premiership coz he is the backbone of the liverpool and the england team .the accuracy of his pass and his shot make him a dangerous plzyer indeed and steve is just warmin up in terms of his form he hsa not reached his peak yet
