I feel emotion to the extremes...I can never be a "little bit" of something...like a little bit happy, or a little bit upset. It's always to the extreme even when something happens that is stupid and i shouldn't even be upset over. Also, I have mood swings, and even though I know its wrong, I take it out on the people I care most about...and I'm scared that I am going to lose the man i love due to this. Please help me.

I tend to have "spells" like this too. I get really upset over the stupidest things, and I end crying about them, it's ridiculous, but it's like I can't help it. I've found that keeping a journal and putting my feelings and emotions into it help me to not take out my feelings on the people that I love.

Are you sure you are not bipolar? That is what the disease does. It makes you have severe mood swings. Go to the doc. You need meds if you are. Even if it turns out to be something else, you should still seek help. Good luck.

sounds like you may be a bit bypolar. i have manic depression. that could also be your problem but im not a doctor. teratment is imperative to people like us. i couldnt afford medical treatment. so i found an alternative. st johns wort. you can get it at your pharmacy or vitamin store. it helped me stop the madness in my mind and gain control of myself. look. i dont have alot of time so ide say give that a try and then e-mail me. ive learned alot and id like to help if i can at skysmama77@yahoo.com.kay. talk to ya later. i take 2 pills in the mornin and its great. ill tell you and anyone else who needs to talk later.

I am exactly like you!! My doctor put me on a low dose of Xanax to help with the emotions as needed. Ask your doctor to do that! It really helps!! Take it like 3 hrs before bed and you will sleep like a baby!

this happens to me too. i don't know of a good way to deal. i kind of just internalize everything. i'm sure it's not good and i wouldn't recommend doing that.
