someone who was short sighted? someone who you knew would need help with travel and reading? or would you feel that this would be a burden on youself and think to yourself you would not be able to handle it? Someone with a minor disability e.g. short sighted would this bother you?

Short Sighted? I have heard of far & near sighted, never short sighted so I don't know what it means....buuttttt to answer your question:

I would have married my husband 1000 times over even if he had 3 legs! I guess if you love someone, & you REALLY love someone then something as small as a seeing defiency would not take presidence in my feelings for him. It would not bother me if I truely loved him!

Good Luck!

Marry because you love this person, even with their flaws. Understand you are NOT going to change them in any way shape or form. So if you are content with this short-sighted, person who needs assistance with travel and reading, and the relationship is what you want it to be then by all means marry them. All in all this is your decision not ours. DO you love them? Can you spend the rest of your life with them? Are they the way you want them to be the rest of life?

I wish you the best of luck.

If you have to ask that question, then you aren't ready. If you love someone, it is unconditional. If you feel like something is a burden, move on and let her move on to someone who wouldn't feel this way. You may care about her, but you seem like you feel sympathy not love.

When you are in love, things like this do not matter. It would not bother me to help out the one I love with things like this.
