My wife and I are trying to conceive. We've been tyring since July with no luck. When she feels it's time we have sex twice a day every day like crazy. Should we wait and build up or keep trying the sex marathons? What is the best way to conceive?

Your body needs time to make up some new and strong sperm.I say , every other day after her period is over for at least two weeks or until you cannot stand each other.

Sperm stays alive for up to three days so every other day has you covered.
Have fun.

Not so frequently as the quality and quantity of the sperm diminishes. Every other day is probably best to let supplies build up. My only other tip is to stop trying so hard as there is really no best time, a woman can conceive even during her period, try to have sex just for the fun of it and don't look upon it as a baby making session. Once the pressure is relieved you will probably find she'll conceive just as you're least expecting it :) Good luck!

Twice a day sounds like a lot. You need to let your sperm build up a little bit. My hubby and I did the every other day technique. We also bought this stuff online that is supposed to help with sperm reaching the egg and gives you a better chance of conceiving. www.preseed.com. Both of those things together helped us get pregnant. Good luck to you!

Your wive has to know her ovulation patterns. This is what's most important. A woman only ovulates 24-48 hours in a month (if she's regular), and when she has her period it's a sign that shes ovulating. The best time is 24-48 hours before she ovulates up to the day of ovulation. Sperm is suppose to live inside her body for up to 4 days or so. My husband and I really made a point to make love during my ovulation time (I am very regular so it wasnt difficult for us to conceive), just three days fir the first month and I just found out I am pregnant. Granted, its not that easy, but dont get discouraged. I would have to say that I would rather you have sex during her ovulation time is BEST, so it requires for your wife to her know body, and her cycle. GOOD LUCK!

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

When I was trying to conceive my DR advised me that doing it too often would lessen the chance because the sperm count does not have time to build back up and that it was actually better to wait atleast 2 to 3 days before having intercourse again. Good Luck

Sex all the time! Practice makes perfect, and the more fun you have the more relaxed it will be, and the likelier to chance upon the perfect time to conceive. Orchestrating the timing adds too much pressure, and takes the fun out of an act that should be very spontaneous! Happy baby-making!

It's best to have sex once every other day b/c your sperm is produced every 3 months. So if you have sex like you say you could be shooting blanks for a little while. Good luck and have fun!!!

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that her eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into her mouth and check her body temperature every morning before she starts turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. You must ejaculate on your inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.

After having sex she must stay in bed for about 30 mins with her knees bent up with a pillow under her buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.

You must save your sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
