Hold the menu bottum 4 a while. There should show a vertical list of applications running - to close unnecassary programs, scroll to them and press "C" (cancel)

Nikki T - The memory the phone is referring to is the RAM memmory of the phone - That which holds all the data of the applications - Storage Memory or Physical Memory is where contacts/games are stored - this memory still holds its data while the phone is switched off, while the Secondary Memory (RAM) loses all the data when the phone is switched off

You have too many items stored in the memory,whether it be numbers or games or what not. You need to delete something else before adding new items.

I'd presume that closing some applications will help.
