How far is the window? How high is the building (the window to ground distance)? Is the door an exit from the room or the building? If the door leads in to other rooms is the rest of the building on fire? Why am I in a room that is so big? 90 second run = almost 1/4 of a mile (1/2 km)

If you are on the first floor, I would go the way that would get me out fastest. If the window is on the 2nd or higher floor, I would go for the door, but follow these rules:
When a fire occurs, do not waste any time saving property. Take the safest exit route, but if you must escape through smoke, remember to crawl low, under the smoke and keep your mouth covered. The smoke contains toxic gases which can disorient you or, at worst, overcome you.
Never Open Doors That Are Hot To The Touch
When you come to a closed door, use the back of your hand to feel the top of the door, the doorknob, and the crack between the door and door frame to make sure that fire is not on the other side. If it feels hot, use your secondary escape route. Even if the door feels cool, open it carefully. Brace your shoulder against the door and open it slowly. If heat and smoke come in, slam the door and make sure it is securely closed, then use your alternate escape route.

i would make the blanket wet ( with the water)....put in my mouth and run for the door by breathing through the wet blanket....sound kinda cheap but i think thats better than looking out the window and breathing while the room is burning..

you put this in physics....so..there must be something funny about it..like..the room is on the tenth floor of the building so going out the window would likely kill you.
so i've got a litre of water and a blanket...ok...soak the blanket as best you can with water, wrap it around you, run. pray the hallway itself isn't engulfed in flame.

How a procedures is the window? How severe is the form (the window to floor distance)? Is the door an bypass out from the room or the form? If the door leads in to distinctive rooms is a few thing of the form on fire? Why am I in a room it is so enormous? ninety 2d run = very virtually a million/4 of a mile (a million/2 km)

We the blanket and put it over your head. You didnt say if the window is on the ground floor. Check that and then go for the door if your are 2nd floor or above,

Wet the blanket, jump out of the window, and use the blanket as a parachute.
