Anything but political or religious costumes. Depending on the type of work you do, consider something based on that. I work in a printing shop and am going to dress as as big can of ink. (Purple, naturally)

WARNING!! Halloween is an evil holiday in which people try to cover up by handing out candy to little kids, but many teenagers go around destroying things, and many cults and witchcraft celebrate this day, so this day should not be supported in any way whatsoever, Halloween should be removed from people's calendars and condemned! Friends of Satan do not need to be assisted by recognizing their holiday! It is EVIL! Don't be a friend of Satan!

Wear your pajamas and fuzzy animal slippers and go as "ready for bed." If going with friends, each of you should dress in pajamas and you can all go as a "slumber party."
Go barefooted, wear your dad's trousers and go as "a hobo."
Put an apron on, put a few utensils in the pockets that protrude obviously and go as "a chef."
Wear too much makeup, over tease your hair, wear a skirt that is too short and too tight, carry a Bible and go "as Tammy Faye Baker."
Wear jeans and a blue jean jacket, a pair of boots and drape ropes over both shoulders and go as a "cowboy" or "rancher."
Take 7 leashes and go as a "dog walker that lost all the dogs."
