The pink Ipod would be great. However, I have always believed it is better to give than to receive. Why don't you volunteer somewhere to express your gratitude for reaching 21. You could make it a group affair. You and x number of friends could find an events that needs multiple helpers and volunteer together. Check Volunteers.com or a similar website.

You're turning 21! This birthday is not about gifts. It's about going out and binge drinking. You aren't supposed to remember your 21st birthday. Most people buy alcohal for a person turning 21. I wouldn't expect much more than that. An I-pod is too expensive of a gift to ask for...unless you are a spoiled brat.
