DO NOT use windex.
DO NOT use paper towels.
Windex can "melt" the finish on your LCD screen. Paper towels are not soft enough and can scuff the finish on your screen.
Use a microfiber cloth, eyeglass cloth or a 100% cotton cloth. Spray some LCD safe cleaner on the cloth and gently wipe your screen. Never spray directly onto your LCD. Try to stay away from premoistened cleaning cloths. They are often too damp, too harsh, or leave streaks. When you purchase a cleaner, look for the words LCD safe.
Another safe and very effective method is a mixture of 4 parts vinegar and 1 part water. This will clean your screen very nicely and it is 100% safe.

You get screen wipes, but they are a waste of money.
Take some hand soap, very very mild and clean you monitor with that. Do not use windex, esp on an lcd screen...
You can just use a soft cloth and water to be honest, just have to wipe a little harder and for a little longer..

turn off the screen spray window cleaner on a paper towell or soft cloth and clean it dont spray cleaner right on the screen

A bounty paper towel and glass plus. DO NOT SPRAY THE SCREEN! Put a spray on the towel.

WIndex can be good, but he LCD screens tend to get streaky...use the wipes made for that.
