It's a cheap little microwave that I got yesterday. I unplugged it but the timer keeps on making noise!

if you unplugged it i would say it should go off... try pressing stop or turning the dial to zero... tho i would say if you already unplugged it and it still goes that its haunted. no just joking but stop/cancel or pressing clock should work

check the "troouble-shooting" part of the owner's manual if that exists... otherwise, i'd suggest you take it back... good luck!

Try "Clear" button.

it should have a "stop/cancel" button on it; try that
