I know where you're coming from. I'm 23 and sometimes TV, friends, going out, whatever, just don't cut it. I needed an outlet. I tried cake decorating (any Jo-Ann Fabrics or Michael's Craft store will offer classes), scrapbooking (again, craftstores offer classes and also the Creative Memories consultants have a lot of scrapbooking nights or weekends where you can use other people's stuff and buy from the Consultant right then and there), and what I really love now is beaded jewelry. To get started, I bought jewelry making for Dummies. I love those books and now my friend and I have started a business. It's tedious at times but I love it and I don't normally like tedious work. What I want to start on next is sewing. Luckily my mom is amazing at sewing so I can take "classes" from her. Another thing I like is planning trips (like where to go, what to do, what to eat, how to get places, what hotels to stay in), even if I won't be actually taking these trips any time soon. Sounds kind of lame, but I think it's a good break from my life sometimes. Plus, when I have money to go somewhere, I'll have a bunch of trips already planned out to pick from :-)
Good luck and if you try something and hate it, don't give up. I went through a lot of hobbies and still have a lot of supplies and books from those hobbies. It took awhile before I found that I love making jewelry.

A perfect question ! Better you could find your own interests. Taking into account your own likings/abilities and powers, you may take anyone of them: Painting, singing, sports of your choice, writing short stories, collecting stamps, coins and developing bonsai plants. You may make a help group to help the needy, thus choosing the field of NGOs. Whatever, it may be please don't leave it in between. Just be excellent in the whole world. No one should be better than you. Try to get the maximum excellence in your hobby so that MEDIA persons come and take an interview of yours. I hope you will choose such hobby and one day years after this Answer, I would exclaim with joy to find you in Media's news articles.

Paint. Painting is fun and interesting and it passes time pretty easily. Even if you're not a "good" painter it doesn't matter. Have you seen some of these paintings people pay millions for?? Get some paint and a some paper and have fun with it. It's not very expensive and it shows a lot about you based on what colors you pick that day or what you decide to try to draw.

how about knitting, crochetting, plastic canvas, painting, or look on the web to find some sites that have ideas for crafts using items found around the house.......i have personally done all of the above but currently i am using a scroll saw and cutting out different patterns and painting them and selling or giving them away.....whatever you chose you will find a real enjoyment in giving things away that you have made with your own two hands!!
Good luck and have alot of fun with whatever you decide!!!
