In addition to the answers that have already been received, it will also depend on the pitch of the roof and if there are gables or anything to roof around. The steeper and more involved it is, the harder the job, the more expensive. It will also depend on the style of shingles you use to reshingle...3 tab, dimensional, or a different type product than asphalt shingles....slate, spanish tile, etc. I would suggest calling several local companies for estimates....I have good luck with smaller companies in terms of expense, but I verify that the company has all the proper insurance. It depends on the number of layers. It can cost over $200 a square, if there are like 3 or 4. It costs a lot to dump now days, expecially shingles.
