start giving normal food. introduce her to your daily preparation. but make it less spicy. include at least two vegetables per day & see that she eats. include dal, curds & salads. give her one fruit ( one banana. few grapes, one orange etc )everyday. she will get all the nourishment needed beung a vegetarian. make sprouts salad. give her three cups of milk per day.

They say its not really a great idea to make a baby a vegetarian. They still need the protein from the meat and theres really no good substitute when they are that small. If I were you, I would at least make sure to let the baby have at least a small amount of meat till she is a bit older....unless of course you have cleared this with your dr. Otherwise she/he should be able to eat anything and everything you guys eat as long as you watch and make sure there is nothing that would cause the baby to choke.

Everything the elders in the house eat normally, in easily chewable or drinkable form. Make sure the Protein need is met by the use of PULSES and lentils. There is no need to make the child eat meat if the parents are not eating it. But if the parents are diagnosed with any protein deficiency diseases, there is need to consult a Dietitian.

Pastas, Veggies, Soups, Pudding, Yogart, Toddler cookies, Fruits, Cereal, Oatmeal, Scrammbled Eggs.
Just think of a raibow and try to give her one of each color a day to have a well balanced meal.
Example: Red Apple, Green Peas, Yellow Bannana, Orange Squash, Just to name a few.....

at 14 mos they can eat everything except if they are allergic to something (nuts / lactose)
lots of calcium, protein should help
