The Renaissance reached its peak 1450 - 1600 AD. The Age of the Enlightenment was in the Eighteenth Century (1700's AD).

The Renaissance happened during the 1400s and 1500s. The Enlightenment caused all the others, though.

It is probably the Rise of Capitalism. That didn't occur until the Industrial Revolution.
