NO. The medicine is meant to treat the other person's problems, not yours. Not to mention the dosages would be all wrong is weight is a factor, and you could otherwise react unfavorably to the medicine.

No. I imagine that your friends are intelligent and you are as well and they know the risks, but not everybody does. Even if it sounds like you have the same exact things as they do, you may not. And even if you actually DO have the same thing, medicines react differently in different people. Only doctors and pharmacists know what's best for you in this area. Taking someone else's medication is always risky.

And if you are talking about taking, say, your mother's cough medicine to get high, that's always, always a bad thing. For the reasons I mentioned above, plus you are not taking the chemical for the right reason. Getting high is never a good idea.

No. The amount is based on that persons body weight and any other medicines they might be taking. To take someone else's meds could have an adverse effect on you. Talk to a dr.

No, it's not a good idea. When a doctor is prescribing medicine, he knows the patient, their history and any other medication they might be on that could cause a reaction.

It is NEVER safe to take a medication that is not prescribed to you. It is also illegal to take someone elses prescription.
