No he's not a bad captain, actually he is a very soft spoken person and is not agressive by face but he is agressive when he's batting bcoz he faces the opposition with full commitment and forces them to fall on their knees to dismiss him.I think tis is how he shows his aggresiveness.
We should not compare him with Ganguly they both r totaly opp.
When ganguly was captain India did well till he did well but how can u expect him to lead from the front if he is not performing, how will he advice the other team players.if he does not has confidence in himself how can he instill confidence in the team.
I think dravid lacks some elements of captaincy which ganguly had but today he is in a better state of mind than ganguly ,he may lead the team frm the front by his performance but may not show to the whole world tat he is leading. He has been burdened with tis job of captaincy but he has to do it coz their is no one else in the team eligible enough for tis post.
ALL THE BEST DRAVID

I think Dravid has been a good captain along with coach Greg Chapel. I couldn't have agreed more on Chapel's innovative ideas. The team is performing below a confidence level and we can't blame a captain or Coach for it. However with better approach to practice and play a lot can be achieved.

I beg to differ with you. The reason for Indian Team's poor show is the lack of dedication, commitment, fighting spirit and above all determination to win. I feel that it is unfair to entirely blame the Coach and the Captain for the poor performance. I hope you will agree that the same team did exceptionally well in 2005 under the same Captain. I feel complacency has creeped into the mind of some of the players, which has to be changed, if India have to fare well.

I completely agree with you, India need a seasoned player like Sourav Ganguly.
Dravid is an 'ok' captain,so so
Chappell should be replaced as coach

Do you still have doubts about his bad captaincy. I had known his disability to lead the team from the very first day of his captaincy and declared that he will lead us to some dumbness but then people don't believe me coz they thought that I am Dada's fan so I am jealous of him but no i had seen his drawback. He is a good player but definitely not a match winner or a good captain. Sachin too lacks the leading capability and after knowing his weakness he willing left the post of captaincy but look at this man, who is so dumb that he is taking us to the stage of drowning along with that devil chappal.

Yes, Dravid is a very bad captain. You can say that he is a vehicle run by an engine called Greg Chappel. He didnot take decisions on his own. India requires a captain like Saurav but it will not work until and anless he performes. Saurav was thrown out because he took his own decisions and he donot want to follow chappel.

Cricket is a sport of record and record say Inzi is lot greater ideal than Rahul. the two are large gamers yet extremely no longer large captains yet while they have a tie between them then i think Inzi is a greater ideal captain. If we communicate approximately wc then Inzi replaced into maximum suitable an component that would by no potential have been favorites with out their actual capability of speedy bowling yet Rahul had between the ideal batting line up interior the international and a few stable bowling yet might desire to no longer take care of the gang precise.

No way.....Dravid ia very good captain........He leads by example....now....he has performed in almost all of his matches as captain axcept for 4 or 5 matches............The team just needs to boost up...............We have a good captain and a very good team.........they just need some time a nd confidence........Greg Chappel isn't a bad coach also........
You can't go on changing coaches...just because the team is not performing..........Do u have any idea how long a team takes to get set to a new coach and his views.................and as they say in hindi.......sabar ka phal meeta hota hai........

You have answered your own question in the additional detail column. Yes Gregg need to be sacked as I consider Rahul as a very good captain of Indian cricket team.

Cant say bad but he cant take decisions well as required for a captian to be so, he is very much dependant on chappel while Ganguly can do that very well, he takes decisions independently n that thing later works in the field........i think Ganguly is better person for captiancy and he should be in team now....but seems very difficult as condtions r very hostile for him .
