I'm not a big expert on this but a stroker engine really is only different in the crankshaft. They make stroker kits for alot of the higher end cars. I could put one on my GTP if I had the money so I know they have one out there for the GTO. http://www.gmhightechperformance.com/tech/0605htp_ls2_stroker_kit/

His GTO is a 2005 and he has an account on ls2gto.com forum and gmhightechperformance.com was very informative! I might look into that site for my GTP.
