You need a powder designed to help combat the shiny look. I use Arbonne's and it's great! I've been using it for almost 2 months now and I still have plenty.

Arbonne Intelligence Personalizer- Absorb oil before moisturizing or applying makeup with a light dusting of Personalizer that helps balance oily redness and keeps your matte finish intact for hours.

Invest in those oil blotting sheets...you can find all different brands of them at Walmart. They really do work and take like 15 seconds to blot your face!

Also...following a daily cleansing plan will really do wanders for your face. Idealy, there are five steps you should follow...

1. cleanse
2. exfoliate
3. tone
4. moisturize
5. protect.

...I dont know if you've ever tried Mary Kay before, but they have a set of products called the "miracle set". It includes a 3-in-1 Cleanser that combines the frist three steps, a moisturizer and a protectant for your face. The cleanser and the moisturizer come in either dry-to-normal or combination-to-oily.

I would never sell anything that I didn't believe in...but since I started using the products...my skin has done a complete 360! I get compliments all the time! It is a wonderful product! Feel free to contact me if you have any other questions about the Mary Kay line of products! And if you'd like...i can helf you find a beauty consultant in your area...or you can order from me! Our products are 100% guaranteed! And they are fabulous! Let me know! :)

There are some great oil control products from Mary Kay. Depending on the severity, which it sounds like you have very oily skin, there are different products. I would definetly have some suggestions but I would need to know more about your skin specifically. Please visit the website below and view some of the oil-control products and give me a call or e-mail with the contact info on there and I would be happy to give you a personal consultation.

Make sure to use a cleanser, toner & oil-free moisturizer specifically made for oily skin. Johnson & Jonson's Clean & Clear Oil Blotting Sheets are the best! Use them thru out the day.

I can tell you what has worked for my friend who has oily skin. She swears by proactive, they have a moisturizer that is supposed to absorb oil on skin, believe it or not. She also use bare minerals for make-up.

1. Use lavender cleansing soap (GNC)
2. Use shine free or oil free make up
Plus I always have a little towel (hand towel) and I touch my face with the little towel just to absorb the oil, not the makeup. It works, and then you can re-touch with a lite compact powder (oil free)
