Minimum wage is entitled to those who are 18. At JD's it has just been moved up to £4.69. If your 16-17 it's £4.36 i think. The minimum wage for retail is different to other jobs so you won't be getting £5.05, especially not at JD's cos i hell as don't get that :( and JD's doesn't as well as other companies do. Goodluck

The NMW is now £5.30 ph, but the wages vary based on the employer, your skills (value to the company), and time at the place.

Age defined NMW is in place now.. over 21 you are entitled to 5.35 p/h any younger and you will have to contact the job centre people or citizens advice

well the minimum wage as advertised in job centres is £5.05 but many jobs pay less... i don't know how, some loop hole somewhere
