I took a hpt last night and when i peed on the stick it took forever for the pee to absorb. i followed the instructions to a tee. now i took the same test out the same pack last week and had no issues. every hpt i have ever taken you can see the absorbpation take place quickly (i mean the little window starts to show results). The result was to be two vertical lines if postive. i got a vertical line and a very faint horizontal line.
I am going to retest with a different brand i just wanted to know has this happened to anyone else before?

The +/- tests are notoriously difficult to read, but it sounds from your explanation that this is supposed to be a || test. Strange that you got a horizontal line. It definitely sounds like a faulty test. I think your idea of testing again with a different brand is a good idea. If you want to help other people out by reporting your difficulty, you can take a digital picture of your test and email it to the people at http://www.peeonastick.com . They have great info about hpt's, and the more people report problems and send in their pictures, the better the info is for everyone else.

Congrats, you are pregnant! It is totally infrequent to get a fake confident. When the moment line is faint it simply implies that your hCG stages are nonetheless really low. As your being pregnant progresses, your hCG degree upward push dramatically. If you had been to maintain taking exams each week, you would see that line get darker and darker. Good good fortune!

Same happened to me. Faint line for my first test, and when you wait a day or two later, it gets darker and darker. Congrats!

yes, this has happened to me b4 and the doc told me that the directions could have been wrong..in my case he told me that as long as there was a line in both screens i was preggers!!

i never had this problem,but it doe'nt mean that all
the test out there is good.i'm sure there's some
disfunctionnal one
