As in,
"Hey, have you seen the new Scorcese movie yet?"
"Yeah, it was pretty good."
That kind of lie. The type where you have nothing to gain from it, and instead you are just getting yourself stuck in a conversation in which you have no frame of reference. When was the last time you did that?

Never saw that movie! Also I really don't lie but some people misunderstand me or don't hear me correctly and they think I lied but really really I don't lie.. The bible says in one of the 10 commandments: Thou Shalt Not Lie!
Don't get me wrong here.. I think the 10 commandments are for us to obey to the best of our ability. If someone prevents one from being able to obey a commandment it's the preventers fault not the one having difficulty in obeying it. I have trouble with: "Love thy neighbour as thyself.". because some of my neighbours are spyheads , insulters, privacy invaders. I can't love that type of people!

I just did yesterday...my mom called me asking why was the phone at home not working. She was thinking that someone leftthe phone on or something. I looked at my brother and at the time my dad, three brothers and I were out to eat breakfast. He shooked his head as if he didnt want my mom to know we were out to eat. So, then she ask me where is everyone and I told her i was at the mall, my older brother was out with his gf and my dad and two other borhters went out to get something. so, then i ask them, without thinking, did anyone left the phone on? I told my mom that they said no...she was like ok bye. Then i just remembered that lie i told her. I felt really stupid. And my dad told me that he told her hat we were going out to breakfast anyways. Thats made it worse. But all is forgotten.

Not too long ago. I told someone that I had been to a concert that of course, I have never been to. Had nothing to gain from it. Dont ask me why I did it....Could have been the Jagerbomb....

i do that quite abit. yesterday my wife asked me if i wanted to go bowling and i said no i go way too much. the thing was i havnt been bowling in like to years and i actualy wanted to go.
