the 999 error is false.Log on to yahoo mail 1st then go to games. This by-passes my yahoo main page and gets you around the 999 error. If you get the error, log off games then go to mail.

Error 999 is caused when Yahoo bans your IP address.

Wait for a few minutes of seconds and then try again. It should resolve.

You could also try to clear your cache and try restarting your computer.

I have that problem at home but not elsewhere. AT home I am using windows 2000 and at work I use WindowsXP. AT home I use a laptop with a wireless modem. At school it is a T1 line.

Are you using Firefox? Do you still have Explorer on your desktop? Try using different programs. I had that problem on Firefox.
