Not at all. The two best team during the regular season were the Yankees in the American League and the Mets in the National League. Years ago you had to win the pennant outright. Not go into this god awful playoff system. By rights the Yankees and the Mets should have represented their leagues in the series. All this season showed me again is that the regular season continues to mean less and less. High dollar tickets to games that really don't mean crap!!! Baseball is in deep trouble when a team with an 83-78 regular season record is now allowed to call themselves "world champions". It's a joke and it's sad for the game.

I was born and raised in southern California, thus I am a Dodgers fan. The Dodgers were major under achievers this year and quite frankly, did not deserve to even make the playoffs. I think the Toledo Mudhens or the Durham Bulls were more deserving than either the Padres or the Dodgers. The Cards earned it...plain and simple.

Nope, even thought the Cards almost choked their entire season away, they did just enough to stay in the playoffs and got on a roll at the right time. The Dodgers had their chances but got swept by the Mets. Even then, it would have been more exciting to see the Astros in a 5 or 7 game series with the pitching staff they have. Unline the Cardinals, they got cold at the wrong time

The Dodgers? HA!!! Don't make me laugh to hard, I'll pull something.

Wouldn't the Dodgers need to win a game in the post-season first? They have won ONE single post season game in 18 years. They didn't have the bats, or the arms. They couldn't even beat a depleated Mets team. How would they have beaten a finally healthy Cardinals team?

Padres and Dodgers SHOULD NOT have EVEN been in the playoffs. Phillies should have they would have won a few games. Dodgers couldn't even won ONE game. one playoff win in 18 years for the dodgers in 18 years. They have not won a playoff series in over 18 years. They had no business being there.

The dodgers are a sturdy group and that i think of of they'd win the pennant this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days in the event that they'd stay removed from the placed on and tear and tear computer virus. i could say that Anaheim is lacking some products to the puzzle this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days.

Hell no! Padres and Dodgers blew it big time. Why the hell would they deserve it, when the Padres got there asses kicked by the Cards, and the Dodgers got spanked by the Mets?!

I would have rather the Padres be in it but the Cardinals played better so they deserve the title!
