Unless you really want to do a lot of study on a subject talk about something that you are familiar with, what are your interests and hobbies. I know when I had to choose a subject it was harder to choose one than to actually do it. I spent too much time thinking what others would think about me. Maybe that could be a subject too, like stage fright. I think mine was more a low opinion of myself.

talk about -- exploitation of children around the
world -- it is a hot topic. united nations made a recent study. go google search and you can find tons of information --tell the class that slavery is abolished the world over but children are still slaves of their parents (sometimes) and often by strangers who put them for 14 hrs. day manual work -- see a recent article in new york times...children in fishing villages and they go into water at the expense of their tiny body and lives...last but not least --mutilation (they still circumcise -- women in Africa -- by the millions and at their healt expense -- they either can not give birth there after or -- suffer a great deal....these practices have to end...tell them all...your students will applaud you for taking up the subject. good luck. talk about yahoo answers and the varity of questions and answers there are on here and all the different subjects pick some that interst you to show them how it works for example. ask some questions and record your answers and show them the points system
