it started that day and has always been that day. the same reason new years day is always on the same day.

Vishwakarma Day ( Pooja) celebrated every year on 17 September because on this particular day God Vishwakarmaji has created Universe. We always pray to God Vishwakarmaji that due to his blessing all the technical things are generating and we r living in age of KAL(Machine) + YUG.God Vishwakarmaji is a symbol of Positive creation.
