I am looking for a gas door cover to replace a broken one on my 4Runner.

A car dealer could supply one for you that is already the same color as your vechile. It will be a little more expensive. A cheaper way to go would be to go to the junk yard. It may not be the same color as your vehicle, but you can always get it painted with the money you saved!

Don't know where you live but here in Calif we have Pick a Part. It's a large yard where you can walk around and pull parts off the cars. They have really good prices for used parts. If that's not possible then go to track auto parts store you should be able to find a generic cap that will fit.

Check with local wrecking yards. They'll probably even help you remove one from a damaged vehicle. Don't pay more than $5.

edit: the salvage yard as suggested by others is a better (cheaper) solution actually

i would try a junkyard first. if no luck with that i bet you will have to go to the dealership to order one from toyota.
