1 part cement 3 parts sand 4 parts gravel or rock.(not exceeding 1" in size) water varies depending on consistency. this is a standard 2000 lb. formula. (sack mix)

Easiest way and most foolproof is to buy Quikcrete or equivalent at home improvement store. For smooth finish, buy sanded mix, for rough, buy with gravel. You can mix this up in a few minutes and get very good results.

94 lb bag portland cement, 8shovels sand, 12 shovels 1'' rock, 18 to 20 gallons water

it all depends on your project. if you are doing a side walk or puting in a foundation. you will use concrete, water and an aggreget.
