I had been in my life, and this occasionally would happen to me
What helped me, and still helps a great deal is practicing Meditation twice a day.
Mindfulness Meditation takes only 15 to 20 minutes, and helps one to find the true peace that is deep within all of us. It provides a calmness, rest, and self-acceptance, as well as acceptance toward others! Mindfulness meditation allows one to concentrate much better and definately Improves Ones Memory!!
There are many other benefits of Mindfulness Meditation.
Simply type "Mindfulness Meditation" in your computer doing a search and you'll discover many very helpful sites to use.
And finally, you do not have attention deficeit or any other Label such as, and it is not necessary to go see a doctor, or Psychiatrist.
Simply do some self-help searches on the internet, such as on Mindfulness Meditation.
You can do it. You are very special and so please do not think negative of yourself.
Most people go through this in life, from time to time, even if they do not admit it.

Are you sleeping. I have insomia and have had episodes such as you describe when I haven't slept in 3-4 days. It also happens after a month or so of only getting 3-4 hours of sleep.
For me th ecure is worse than the problem, as I have horrible reactions to most sleep meds.
Exercising helps loads with insomia.
Attention deficit and compulsive behaviors also mess with your memory.
Brain damage, tumors, or an inbalance in your bio-chemisty of your nerve synapses can also cause forgetfullness.
Maybe you should explore some of these sites for answers:

Be careful about using too much vitamin B's as suggested at some of these sites. At 19 you may be drinking those energy drinks and lots of caffiene. Start taking too much Vitamin B's and you will cause your heart to race, sometimes out of control. Besides becoming painful, your heart could stop ..... even at 19.
I hate telling anyone to go in to a doctor, because doctors will only know what you tell them and their test results. if they did not test for the right thing .... well the diagnosis will be off. In your case I have to say that you need to figure out what triggers these episodes. Write a diary or journal of what you have eaten or drank. List your activities, dietary habits, any medicines, vitamins, or supplements you are taking. Think back 2 years and see if you were invovled in an accident, fight, or som eother activity that could have caused a jolt to your head. After you keep this journal for several weeks then go in for a health check-up. If you have insurance, most pay 100 % for one complete check-up per year. Just make sure that is how the doctor bills it.
During the checkup bring up your memory problem and go from there.
If not, read up on coping techniques. If it is getting worse and or you are having headaches I would still make an appointment to go in for a check up. Tumors don't generally go away on their own.
Then again, a relative of mine was having severe memory problems even affectin gher ability to walk ... she was bulimic and had sever hypocalcia or something like that. She was not taking up any calcium due to the purging. This affected all motor control and memory. She was going into renal failure before anyone figured out what was going on.
Hope you are not suffering from bulimia, anaxoria, or a tumor! Hopefully it is just lack of sleep.

You are easily distracted. If you think you are having an actual memory deficit, go see a doctor who can send you for tests to rule out anything more serious. If you agree with me, you probably better print this out or write it down so you actually remember to do it. LOL

It means you have attention deficit. You may want to see a doctor about it. Perhaps some brain food would help like nuts and fish

That happens to all of us at times. Though I'm not making light of it (you should have a medical pro check it out), at this time I wouldn't worry too much.
