I'm not understanding why you "cannot escape from that."
Is it a family member/spouse or co-worker/boss?
If not, you should easily be able to keep your distance from the irritating one. All you would need to do is keep telling him/her that you have other plans, etc.
If it is a loved-one or one from work, you may just need to let them know (silence may be better than doing something).
Good luck--I've had many irritating neighbors and others over the years--some are more difficult to straighten out than others. I usually just began ignoring them.

Nobody has the right to irritate you. Just ignore the person, that is the worst thing that you can do to a person like that. I dont think that it will become a big issue if you respect yourself and you demand that that person respects you.

it depends on why they irritate you. If they irritate you because they just get on your nerves, it's up to you to deal with it. But if they are irritating you by doing something that irriates EVERYone around, then a group of you need to confront the person. Guilt trips are lessened so much when there's more than one or two people to deal with.

The person is knowingly irritating you as (s)he knows well that you are prone to irritation. Add to his/her cause by just giving a smile, this would send a message that it is just a wastage of time on investing on you. Enjoy the moment instead of going peevish. This is the only positive remedy.

People can irritate you up to the extent that you allow them. Try to psyche yourself that he/she is likened to a "crazy" person. If you react or go down to his level then you are crazier than he is. So ignore her/him and truly be indifferent to his actions. Instead treat him well, see how the tides will turn, he wil be the one irritated because he will see that you are not affected by his actions.

build sense of humour within yourself. it helps a lot. when somebody imitates u , u imitate them while answering them. they cannot get cross withu because it is they who started it.when they imitate u go stright to them & congratulate them for imitating u so nicely. or tell them " thanks a lot for the compliments yar, i never knew that i am so good " when it becomes a big issue act as though u are enjoying the attention u r getting. it will stop them going further.
