I also support AFC Wimbledon. It goes back to 1977. I didn't have much of an interest in footie at the time but I used to travel the 7 or 8 miles to Plough Lane to watch Wimbledon Speedway. That year Wimbledon FC were elected to the football league and out of curiosity I wandered along one evening to watch them play Grimsby Town in what was then the 4th division. 2-2. I was ALMOST hooked. I became a casual supporter, turning up at about half of the home matches. Then the Speedway team were wound up and I became a fully fledged fan. In an ironic twist of fate Wimbledon FC became the much hated MK Dons at the same time as the re-birth of Wimbledon Speedway's team. I try to watch AFC Wimbledon whenever I can, work permitting. And I have to say it.......it's just like the old days!!! COME ON YOU DONS!!

I support Arsenal. I was born and brought up just down the road from Highbury. It's kind of a birthright, and gladly so, but they are a great team and of the options available I would have chosen them anyway. I live out in Hampshire now, but would love to be back on their doorstep again.

Now I live in Hull, so the odd trip to Middlesbroughs club shop is the only way I can support them now

I support Newcastle Utd....I live in South Shields which is 13 miles south...though I used to live in Newcastle. I support them cos they are my local club, am proud to be a geordie and don't believe in people who support sides simply cos they're successful. When I first started following Newcastle they were an average second division side.........
