I was trying to conceive and tested negative after skipping my period. A week later I was having weird symptoms and tested a second time, this time testing positive. I made an immediate appointment with my GYN and found out I was already 2 weeks pregnant even though I'd taken a "First Response" style test that was supposed to know within the first day of pregnancy. Sometimes they just don't show right away! I know this sounds torturous, but wait a week and test again if you've not had a period.

You may still end up getting your period. Maybe the reason why you haven't gotten it yet is because your stressing over Hoping being pregnant. Wait or at least a few days after your period was to be due. If still no sign try another test or go to your family doctor.

You may be late due to stressing about trying so hard to get pregnant...Maybe the hormone detected in the pregnancy tests wasn't enough for a reading? Wait until a week or two after the end of the month..then try the test again...

stress is a big factor in your case, i have gone 2 months without having a period ! so relax and don,t try so hard it will come and please don't take any of those hormone pills! next thing you know you,ll be having 6 when you only wanted one ! just don't worry so much! take it slow and enjoy the Passion!don't think of ( I got to have a baby) put that out of your mind! and when you let go and just enjoy the togetherness bingo it will happen! good luck!!

you could run a little late or maybe have finnally conceive,
who know's,you're body does'nt work according to time,
you know the precious time of conceiving is 14 days
after you're period,that when you're ovulating.if you took
the test before that it will come up negatif for sure.
if you don't have you're period then it's very possible
that you have succed.taking a test to early won't have
accurate result..try again those test are very good .

try again
good luck

I agree with KatB. If you continue to get negative results and you STILL haven't started your period I would definately schedule an appointment with your gyno. If a blood test comes out negative then it's possible that something more serious is going on.

Good luck!!!

Sometimes the test are wrong and it depends when your last period happened.Check again at the end of the month or go to the doctor.

Your period doesn't know what month it is on the calender. Go to the doctor and have blood test done. Some women don't show positive on at home tests.

when do you usually get your period? how late are you? maybe you took the tests to early. did you jsut start on a birth control that could be the problem. if your really concerned talk with your doc about a blood test sometimes tests are jsut wrong. gl

There is a chance your period is late. If your period is always on time, then the tests you took are probably wrong and you are probably pregnant. Congrats if you are.
