I absolutely love Carol of the Bells, it's like when I hear it it becomes official that Christmastime is here. Whether its the instrumental or some fantastic group singing it, it really is a beautiful Christmas song. The writer was kind of brilliant because even the lyrics and the way that its sung really does sound like Bells. I have to find it this year on CD so that I can start playing it after Thanksgiving, Christmas is my favorite time of year.

" Little Donkey" sung by primary school children. It is so cute and innocent.
But the one that sends shivers of delight down my spine is the solo in "Once in David's Royal City" sung by a chorister from the King's College Choir at the annual Christmas Eve service. For me Christmas starts at that point.

None. As a kid, it was Rudolph, but now that I'm the one with kids, everytime I hear Christmas songs, it is just a reminder that I always feel like I never have enough money to make my kids happy during the holidays. Christmas songs are depressing, very very depressing.
