Is it the homeowners? The building owners? The local government? The water companies in the case of leaves blocking the sewer?

I'm tired of raking all the leaves.

in our city, we are responsible for our yards and the sidewalk, they are responsible for the street and gutters, in the fall, everyone is notified when the street cleaner comes thru, and we are to put all the leaves on the curbs. they will sweep them up. you are not responsible for the streets. but if you want to make sure, call your court house and find the laws regarding this.

Call the Dept. of Public Works. Picking up leaves in the streets is the city government's job.

usually it is the city that comes by in the fall and sweeps the street. some cities ask you if you would keep the gutters cleaned out in between cleanings. in my town, it is against the law to put your leaves in the street. check with your local law enforcement on this.
