By the time I drive 1/2 hour to home from work, my daily tensions are pretty much gone, especially with the type of music I listen to. Then when home, I have to let it go because I also have a family who expects me to walk in without taking my work out on them. If by the time I get home and the daily pressure is still on my shoulders, then I always take a hot bath / shower and stay there until I feel like I can handle homework, supper, etc. If that doesnt' help, then I have a glass of wine while cooking supper. By the time we settle to eat, my day is all but forgotten.

And since I have a boss that yells / screams / and uses you like a scapegoat for all his idiocies at work everyday, you tend to get used to it and afterawhile it doesn't bother you as much. Or at least, that's what I've been telling myself for the past 10 years with the same sort of boss.

First if the boss does that me and the boss have a little chat in the office and it is worked out. Because I have never put up with that and have never done it to any of my people. As for as when I get home I take a long bath or shower and relax for the evening. You should never leave work with something like that unsettled.
