Why was Phil of the Future cancelled? I think there is nothing wrong with the show. The show is for all ages, so why would they cancel it?

eventually they Had to end it i mean he cant be in the past forever
but they are going to have a movie next year i think that's going to be called BACK TO THE FUTURE ABOUT THEM GOING BACK TO THE FUTURE I GUESS

guys you're all wrong, its not cancelled because of ratings..frankly Disney Channel doesnt have a reason to cancel it anymore but they WERE cancelling it cuz they wanted the costar Alyson and her sister to be put in another show on Disney and they dont allow the stars to be on two live action shows at once. but it got axed so i don't know why they're cancelling it now..im pretty sure it's cuz they think the stars of the show are too busy doing other things cuz they do seem like they're moving on even though they're not...
Disney Channel is retarded anyway, i tell ya i could do a better job at managing that channel then the people who are in charge now.
but its still not cuz of not enough people watching cuz we have alot of people trying to save it...there are alot of us that really love it...
I AGREE!!! cancelling it is just stupid.my mom and her bf even likes it. that's my absolute fav. show and i get tired of seeing the same eppys.
but there is something you can do go to savepotf.com to help save it, it has Disney people's email addresses & stuff and join the yahoo! group: Save Phil of the Future if you haven't already to get updates on ways to help. and NO they are not doing a movie, im sry to say.

IT'S BEEN CANCELLED?! Well, that shows you how much I watch Disney Channel!!!! LOL!
I used to watch that show ALL the time! At first I didn't like it! But, as time went along, I really started to. Especially, that Pim. [Did I spell her name right? LOL] It was a good show. Much better than that crap they have on now...Life with Derek. What kind of show is that?

Some disney shows only last about three to four seasons, like Even Stevens, it only had three seasons and i think sometimes the writers run out of ideas for the shows. I thought the show was alright.

The only way of keeping a show on the air are 3 things:
First: "ratings"--watch the show and tell all your friends to watch
Second: Website and merchandise traffic--surf the official websites of shows(they use hit counts to see whaich shows work best.)
Third: Message boards and snail mail---The more people talking about a show the more the networks want it around(see source for example)

It has nothing to do w that. It's all about ratings, and it had low ratings. Show has to end sometime.

theres your answer, theres nothing wrong with the show. do u think people will watch it if theres nothing wrong with it? Example: Jerry springer is totally wrong thats why people watch it.
