I really don't want people to get annoyed with me because I know that this question is digging up an issue that people want to forget about.

The thing is I used to think that anyone questioning the fact that it was terrorists was really insensitive, but now that i've heard more about it, alot of it seems to fit - which is very scary.

I'd like people to tell me about the evidence or clues, accounts or stories and people who agree OR disagree with this theory.
Thank you so much in advance. I'd just really like to be informed of all the means and motives of why George Bush or anyone would do this to the American people.

Sorry if anyone is offended by this question.

I've got a better idea: go to Google Video and watch the following documentaries, you won't be dissappointed:
"Loose Change"
"Painful Questions"
"9/11: The Road To Tyranny"
"Martial Law 9/11: Rise Of The Police State"
"Terrorstorm"
"9/11 Mysteries"

Read the following books:
"Alice In Wonderland And The World Trade Center Disaster" (David Icke)
"The Terror Conspiracy" (Jim Marrs)
"The New Pearl Harbor" (David Griffin)
"9/11: The Big Lie" (Thierry Messan)

No matter how you slice it, the "official story" behind 9/11 is bullsh-t. I knew it was about ten seconds after I turned on my TV that morning. Nothing about it makes any logical sense whatsoever...buildings do not collapse from fire (especially fires that were already dying out, according to the FDNY); inexperienced pilots cannot pull maneuvers such as the one Flight 77 supposedly did at the Pentagon; airplanes do not "disintegrate", as Flight 93 supposedly did...the list goes on and on. Just watch the films, read the books- your questions will be answered and your suspicions will be confirmed, to wit:

YOUR GOVERNMENT AND THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA ARE LYING TO YOU.

I guess the 9/11 CT started when the US government couldn't adequately explain how they didn't "know" anything about the attacks when they were given so many clues, why photographic evidence of the pentagon plane crash have been suppressed, (and the public is expected to believe that none of the hundreds of CCTV's in & around the crash site got any footage), the fact that after 9/11 the bush administration had its "smoking gun", which it could use to justify any course of action under the guise of national security. Some CT's have an underlying ring of truth, simply because the explanations sometimes given for a course of action don't add up, and people are left to speculate their own reasons, some more outlandish than others. If the public was given ALL the information (and not treated like simpletons) in the first place, then there would be no need for CT's.

THE conspiracy theory? There's loads of them! Pick a subject - anything at all - there's a conspiracy theory to fit. Princess Diana's death? Adolf Hitler's suicide? The oil crisis? The Global warming theory? Jack the Ripper? The Jews? The muslims? The Christians? Yup - all got em.

The idea that the US was complicit with the terrorists on 9/11 is a way to rebel against official explanations and mainstream journalism. It is easier for the mind to focus on an alliance of secret societies and powerful warlords than to absorb the tragedy created by an individual group of religious terrorists. It scares the beejeebers out of them to know that a small group could completely fool the US government, and they have to find a way to make the truth more palatable.
