The best advice I can give you is go see your doctor...the tests there are more accurate. I was told when I went in to get a pregnancy test at my doctor that their results work best starting on the 40th day of your cycle if you have not gotten your period yet. That would mean that you would be late 12 days considering that you are on a 28 day cycle. Of course that doesn't mean that they cannot detect pregnancy before the 40th day. When I was pregnant the first time I went in when I was a week late and it picked it up. I myself have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now and have used many different types of home pregnancy tests...I always got contradicting answers. I now just go see my doctor if I feel that I need the test done, it is the most accurate in my opinion.
Good Luck :)

I would say yes, because false positives are very unlikely. Did you use a different kind of test the last time? I would go to the doc asap and get a blood test and get your pregnancy confirmed. SOmetimes there is a thing called a chemical pregnancy in which for some reason, the baby doesn't make it. Because we can test earlier, it can be a missed miscarriage--like your period coming in a week late or so.....I would go get a blood test since you are worried

You really just need to go to the Dr. There is a chance that you could be pregnant but there is also a chance that you are not. Sometimes when this happens for whatever reason you could of had a miscarriage. Your body knows when something wrong is going on and with you being so early your body naturally takes Case of the situation and flushes it out. Now i am not saying that this is what is happening but its is a possibility and you need to go to the Dr either way to make sure you are/not pregnant and that you are healthy.

If you had a positive test result...you are most likely pregnant. It is almost unheard of to have a FALSE POSITIVE. It is much more likely to have a false negative...for example if your hcg hormone level is very low, it may not detect it. But if you got a positive result, it means that the test DID detect the pregnancy hormone. That wouldn't happen if you weren't prego. Better make a doctor appt. ASAP.
Good Luck!
