Here's a few activities I do, low cost to- none.....probably pretty lame to some, but I can fill in the time with it, and it's better than being introverted.
You could always read, I enjoy that!
Go fishing
Get a pet, walk the dog, or set up an aquarium, (over time)
Play Yahoo answers, games online
Email friends, family that you havent' talked to in awhile
Go meet your neighbors
Check out any free musuems, exhibits (read paper for events), those are ALWAYS prevalent
Sounds like you need a hobby and I don't know what you like,, but try and do some hobbies, sports, take a class online, donate your time to a charity. Makes you well rounded, selfless, passes the time, as well as helping others.....

Video games. Since you're an adult, nothing is better than a Playstation 2 for you. Try fighting games (preferrably the superior ones) like Tekken 5 and Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution. Or racing games, like Need for Speed: Most Wanted, or other games you like. Since you obviously have a PC, you might want to try PC games. Try Quake 3 and the Half-Life series for shooters, Warcraft 3 for real-time strategy.

Take a night class, join a bowling team, go to a gym.
Go to a book store, where they have a coffee shop.
Lots of people go there and look at magazines , bring
their laptops , visit with all the others.

Buy an old school nintendo. You can get them pretty cheap and playing the games that we played when we were kids is always fun. You can get the games usually for a dollar or two at a used game store.
