Sounds more like an ovarian cyst. Do you experience sharp, unexpected pain and sometimes cramping? A cyst can cause pain during intercourse, lower abdominal pain and can send signals to the brain that you are pregnant when you're not if it's covering your ovary and "blocking" the signal that's supposed to be sent to the brain. I had a cyst for 6 months and didn't know it was the cause of my abdominal pain, cramping, missed periods, tender breasts and weight gain. My doctors just kept saying "well as long as you're not pregnant we're not worried" (military doctors). You need to go see your GYN doc. I'd say odds are stronger that you've developed a cyst than being pregnant but you need to let the doctor make that determination. Sometimes cysts go away on their own and sometimes you need hormonal therapy or outpatient surgery to have them removed. Your GYN especially needs to know about this because it could be an indication that your BC is not working for you and you may need to switch if this is a continued issue. I eventually went onto to Nuva Ring and that's what worked for me to control the cysts.

It could be a cyst, but I had one and had a different experience than the previous post. Mine was an ovarian cyst that erupted and left me in debilitating pain for a few hours, then i was fine. a little sore, but fine. It could be Pelvic Inflammatory Disease or a number of different things. You could just be starting a funky period, our bodies are weird. Better to be safe than sorry though, do to your Dr., that is what they are there for.

Sex doesnt hurt when your pregnant, the symptoms you are having are not related to pregnancy you should make an appointment to get that checked out.Painful sex is not a good sign.
