It wastes so much time to go into the store only to find the item is out of stock. I suspect some sale items have never been on offer in the first place, just a trick to get you into the shop

Of course they should! I was so incensed once when a store told me that there was actually only one of the printer/fax/copier machines in the sale that i wanted and they'd sold it, so i told them i was going to report them under the Trades discriptions act as it had put said item in the plural - as though there were at least two....i won my case, got a hundred and fifty pounds for my trouble and bought a better printer than the one i first saw, so it IS worth complaining!!!

yes i think that they should, as at the end of the day this is false advertising. i also hate it when u receive leaflets through the door from big name companies who have more than 1 shop and only 1 of those shops actually have the product.

Yes indeedee. When I rule the world I will nominate you as head of shop window display police department. If you find that the thing is not available they must be prepared to receive it in any orifice of their choosing - the cheeky monks!

Yeah and the shop assistant looks at you as if your the idiot. I hate that.
