i live in st. louis and it is sad to think that such a great city, and home of the 2006 world championship cardinals could be such a dangerous city.i believe drugs play a big part of that crime in st louis. lets not forget about poverty,which of course leds to more of the drug crime.

Good question. I live in St. Louis and I wish I knew the answer.
Every city has a bad area. Before this year, Camden, NJ had the worst crime rate for the last two years, so St. Louis just had the biggest increase percentage-wise this past year.

ilive in st.louis and i know we do have alot of crime or whatnot but i don't really think we're the MOST dangerous city.....I think whichever is the roughest city is the most dangerous and st.louis is not a rough spot. I don't know...
