It's the fact that they are rewarding old hat instead of promoting young talent.
Havn't U2 won enough awards?

Whats with all the awards for people who HAVE done things ie the outstanding icon idol ect. Theres not that many for current music. How is the killers best video thats a rubbish video what about mcr , green day , muse , rhcp , strokes and loads of other artist have far superior videos. And take that getting the idol award WHY! These are just total chart awards whoever sells the most records gets them not the people with the most talent. I thought Q had a soul clearly i was wrong.

i must say some of these choices are a bit questionable..... i mean i think the killers are a great band but best video??? who are they kidding? Ok Go's video for here it goes again was by far the best and funniest video ive seen in ages!!! I know Oasis get stick but i really do agree Noal Gallagher deserved an award there last album was really good and back to the 'old Oasis' everyone used to love. Not the biggest fan of U2 but i suppose if they've lasted this long in the game they must be doing something right. dont know what manic street preachers have done to get awarded for and dont get me started with Karma Chamelian!

Jeff Lynne and Peter Gabriel are about the only ones who deserve anything. U2, inovation in sound? If that's the case why do all their songs sound the same? There are only a limited number of times you can stick a guitar through an echo effect before it sounds samey! Edge? I think he lost that a long time ago!

Who have aha actually inspired? No problem with Smokey, but Take That ?????. When is the last time they were idols? And is Kharma Chameleon really the best song they could come up with? I mean this is "Q" not "Smash Hits" for God's Sake!!

well what about the other superstars like christina aguilera, shakira, robby williams? some of these are actually good...what about the nominees? was that fair? well that's a start...anyway if the people voted that then they have it...i wish them the best for the rest of their careers

oh my god and where are MY band on that list? Snow patrol deserved every award they were nominated for.i can not describe how much i love them and how much their music has helped me.they deserved an award,that list of winners should have their name in it.
