Your question isn't very clear, if you're asking what parameters there are for a couple to be considered common law spouses the answer is none.
Common law does not exist in the UK, at least not in the case of spouses.

hi, i am assuming you have lived together for sometime and are now breaking up. what is yours and what is theirs? it used to be 7 years, the exact i am not sure, but most laws say that if you share a home , it is half and half, but without the amount of time you have been together makes it more difficult. did you purchase items together, did you purchase a home , is both your names being used. i would suggest you call your local police station and ask them for the statutes, you can also call your court house. hope this helps.
