Tempus Fugit.

Tempus Fugit - or as you know - Time Flies,
Just ten minutes more, to say ones goodbyes.
To say all those things, not said in ones life,
But now ‘tis too late, when ones on that last flight.

To have told those you loved, how much you did love,
To ask for forgiveness from Him up above.
To have paid back those favours, ones had in ones years,
To have told those behind, not to shed any tears.

For mine was a good life, a happy one too,
And who do I thank, no one else only you.
You gave me your all, the best years of your life,
You gave me our children, I thank you - my wife.

To those who have liked me, I thank you my friends,
To those who did not, no time for amends,
So think of me kindly, just once in a while,
And whenever you do, do it with a smile.

So goodbye one and all, I wish you farewell,
‘Till we meet again, be it Heaven or Hell,
The game it is over, the last round has been played,
My final engagement – that the piper be paid.

Please, someone, tell me how you can know what will be your legacy? It's not you who decides, is it? You may want to be remembered in a certain way, by certain things you accomplished, but it's the other people who will decide... And maybe long after you are gone...

And how can you answer this question, unless you are about to die in the next minute? Maybe this would be your legacy: knowing exactly what your legacy will be...

Short term, by family memories, and my success's and abilities. The long term, that I lived as a member of the Homosapien race, and will be remembered for all his capabilities. I am not a prize winner at anything great, but I won the prize in living in this race, and hope that my influences may assist someone else to be a prize.

The legacy is according to your experienced, education, knowledge, and believe. The remembered for will be the things very important to you.

Well, being as I was not created for any greater purpose than the one I was created for...I would say that I would like to be remembered for my standards and beliefs and convictions and giving my all to my family, mostly my children, and advocating for them and protecting them and at the same time being fair and just to them and to others. I'd like to be remembered as trying to make a difference wherever I could, and I do try. If we all did, this world would be one fine dandy place to live in.

When I die, for the fleating moments I am remembered, I hope that people remember me for my compassion. I hope they tell a few endearing stories of how silly I could be. Then I hope they move on being endearing and compassionate on their own.

I dont want to be remembered for anything grand - I just hope that my friends and family remember I cared for them and I was a good person. That would be enough for me.

Hopefully my art and my writing (songs, poems, a novel one day). I don't plan to have children so my artistic creations are my legacy.
