Ahh, the old "analysis leads to paralysis" problem! Well, let me first say it's a heck of a lot easier to learn how to procrastinate, or think things over before reacting, than it is to learn how NOT to procrastinate. This is because being analytical, or maybe a Type B personality, rather than the impulsive Type A, is usually just a part of our emotional make-up. Thus harder to change.
Anyway, the best way I know to be a quicker and more effective decision maker is practice! Simply start making snap judegements when you are faced with a problem. Maybe some will turn out to be wrong at first, but this is practice for the brain! It's like doing crosswords or learning how to play an instrument. The more practice you have the better you will get. In time quick decisions will seem effortless.

Ok, relax...it's normal and you are doing well taking steps to address this problem easy as 1,2,3...that you can fix without a PDA.
1. Get a piece of paper. Small post notes are just fine, unless you really want a whole sheet of paper, whatever makes you feel comfortable.
2. Write down in a list form what you must do today, what homework or such you must do, next: what you want to do--wish list, and other - what you need to remember about anything else.
3. Keep this list and cross off the list when you accomplish something!- and you can make a copy and put it next to your bed in case you remember things at night, and you can copy the list and keep it in your wallet.
This helps you to clarify your thinking. So about once a week, make a new list, and throw away the old that hopefully has lots of things crossed off as accomplished. When you write the list that addresses what you must accomplish, when you reread the list you reinforce what you want to accomplish, and when you cross things off the list, you begin to see how much you are accomplishing in a day, week or month!!!!
This will give you a better outlook because you don't forget as much and you have a NEW FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT!
You can even save the lists in an old shoebox, and once a year see all that you accomplished in that year, and of course make a big dream wish list....where you want to travel in the future, what car you always wanted to buy....what job you'd love to have..You will develop a GREAT FEELING ABOUT YOURSELF!!!!

Make lists to stay organized.
You can use a PDA or you can save $300 bucks and buy a small notebook.

You can get a PDA, but I've found that just making a list on scrap paper really helps me to remember.
