Why they make them the same shape as eye drop bottles I'll never know (this happened to another older personI know). Anyway, if it's a chemical burn on the eye, can that layer of damaged eye regenerate? It's cloudy right now and she says she can't see out of it, but that was yesterday.

Uh, I should clarify - she went to the ER yesterday. She's asleep and dad's working so I don't have anyone to ask the details on this. I assume that the top layer of your eye will regenerate because we've all scratched our eyes from time to time. Thanks everybody!

I am sure she should seek advice and treatment from a medical professional. Her eyes and her vision are not something she should take a chance on losing. I once burned my eye with a curling iron and had to wear a patch on my eye until it healed. It was extremely painful but I was able to see once the patch was removed a couple of days later. I would definitely call a physician and at least ask their advice. Rinse the eye with warm water in the mean time but call a professional soon!

She should have gone immediatley to the ER room and had the eye flushed out and had it examined. She needs to call an Opthalmologist, eye doctor and make an emergency appointment. This can be very serious, not to mention loosing sight in the eye.

I agree with the others. Have her eyes checked by a doctor.

Absolutely! Get her to a doctor and hope it's not too late to save the eye!

You need to call an ophthalmologist ASAP and get her seen today. This kind of eye damage can be irreparable.
