God created Adam and Eve male and female you need to read the Bible God talks about man laying with man and women laying with women before you read pray to God and ask him to help you understand what your about to read start with Genesis chapter 19 read the whole chapter. Then read Genesis chapter 24 verse 60 talks about Rebekah. Truly hope you all take the time to read these chapters so on judgment day when we all stand before the good lord above you cannot point your finger at me and say Mike way didn’t you tell me not only I’m I telling you but everyone the reads my post we need to help these people understand the truth if they keep doing this they will not make it to heaven. But in today world you have the false Preachers and Teachers teaching false doctrine and there not teaching the true word of God. It’s telling you in the Bible. Read The New Testament. I hate no one just want them the accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal saver and live their life’s by the word of God. Good Lord above made Adam a female partner to populate the earth man and man and women and women cannot populate the earth.

Leviticus, Chapter 18, verse 22:
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination."

Keep in mind, though, that christians using this to condemn homosexuality is both "selective enforcement" and against their own religion.
"Selective" because Leviticus Chapter 12 states that after a woman has had a child, she is to be declared "unclean" for 7 days (14 days if the child is a girl), and no one may touch her or see her. Leviticus also says a woman is "unclean" during her menstrual period, and anyone who sees or touches her (for 7 days) is committing an "abomination." Notice they don't still follow *those* rules?
Against their own religion, since the New Testament says Moses' law (which is what the old testament is) has been replaced by jesus law, so the old rules don't apply anymore. However, many christians still pick and choose "laws" from the old testament that they apply when it suits their biases.

christians usually use the old testament to "prove" their point on gays....there is a verse that says a man should not lie with another man as one should lie with a women...something to that extent..and that it's an abomination unto God. But in my opinion, i think churches interpret things the way they see fit...and i think everything in the bible speaks to people differently. i was raised in a baptist church..and left it at 18 and will never go back...it's not a faith for me...maybe some of it is ok..but most of it makes my stomach turn...i beleive people are born gay...nothing they can do about it...and belive God loves all his children the same.:)

Don't really know but don't really care. I just know Priests, Pasters, Ministers in all faiths in general translate the Bible or whatever holy book they use to suit there tastes and ideas. This was also way before most of earths population could read. Hundreds of yrs ago it was the wealthy who could read and the commenors just believed all the stuff the religous leaders taught them. Just like mindless sheep.

One also must remember that "Christians" (true christians, not the fake modern ones) have been released from Levitical/Mosaic Laws. Jesus died for our sins and in his birth, death and resurrection he fulfilled the prophesies and left us with ONLY one mandate: "Love thy neighbor as thyself."

The Old Testiment has no hold on Christians...and beware ANY christian who attempts to use Old Testiment laws or stories against another human being.

And I believe the person up above me is referencing "Sodom and Gomorrah". A story in the bible in which a town is full of homosexual activity, but there is ONE righteous man (Lot) in town. So god sends two angels down to warn him. Soon a crowd gathers by Lots house and tells him to send out the two angels. They're apparently fantastically hot and the crowd wants to have their way with them. Guess what the "righteous" Lot does? Offers the crowd his two daughters instead! Lovely!

The NIV and NASB use "homosexual" in 1 Corinthians 6:9. KJV uses "effeminate". But really, homosexual behavior is no different than any sexual sin (any sex outside marriage between a man and woman). God calls it all "sexual immorality" (Heb 13:4, Gal 5:19, Col 3:5, Rev 22:15).

For those who are Christians, God calls us to "put to death" this immorality (weather homo- or hetro-) and to keep the "marriage bed pure".

In the book of Deuteronomy and in 1 Corinthians 6:9 "What!Do you not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God's kingdom? Do not be misled.Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulturers, nor men kept for unnatural puposes, nor men who lie with men." It's easy to look for it in your bible, just go to the index of your bible and look up men or immorality.And about lot, he offerdd his daughters so that the men would not sin with the two angels and be punished severely,instead or reading these and getting misled by people read your bible and come up with you own conclusions please.i hope everything goes well for you.

well in the bible it dosen't talk about gays it just say that god put us on this earth to be with the opposite sex. He dosen't accept the same sex together. but thats if you read the bible and believe in the creater of all living things.
